Avco International P Ltd. a sole distributor
of Hyundai Motors Company (HMC) and Hyundai Motors India Limited
(HMIL) warrants each new Hyundai vehicle sold shall be free
from any defects in material and workmanship under normal
use and maintenance.
1. Warranty Period: The warranty
shall exist for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery
to the first owner or until the vehicles has been driven for
a distance of 60,000 km whichever comes first. This warranty
is transferable to the subsequent owner for the remaining
warranty period.
2. What is covered: We shall
either repair or replace, any Hyundai genuine part that is
acknowledged by HMIL or HMC to be defective in material or
workmanship within the warranty period stipulated above, at
no cost to the owner of the Hyundai vehicle for the parts
or labour. Such defective parts which have been replaced will
become the property of HMIL or HMC.

Normal maintenance services other than three
face services, including without limitation, cleaning,
minor adjustments, engine tuning, oil/fluid changes, filters
replenishment, fastener retightening, wheel balancing,
wheel alignment and tyre rotation etc.
Replacement of parts as a result of normal wear and tear
such as spark plugs, belts, brake pads and linings, clutch
disc/facing, filters, wiper blades, bulbs, fuses etc.

Negligence of proper
maintenance as required in Owner’s Manual.
Misuse, abuse accident, theft, flooding and fire.
Use of improper or insufficient fuels, fluids or
lubricants.
Use of parts other than Hyundai Genuine Parts.
Any device and/or accessories not supplied by HMIL.
Modifications, alterations, tampering or improper
repair.
Parts used in applications for which they were not
designed or approved by HMC or HMIL.
Slight irregularities not recognized as affecting
quality or function of the vehicle or parts, such
as slight noise or vibrations, or items considered
characteristic of the vehicle.
Airborne “fallout”, industrial fall
out, acid rain, hail and wind storms or other Acts
of God.
Paint scratches, dents or similar paint or body
damages.
Action of road elements (sand, gravel, dust or road
debris) which results in stone chipping of paint
or glass. |

Incidental or consequential damages, including without
limitations, loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use
of vehicle or commercial use.
Batteries, tyres and tubes originally equipped on Hyundai
vehicles are warranted directly by the respective manufacturers
and not by HMIL. |
